These heavy-duty units are engineered to give you the "best of both worlds" by combining a massive load-bearing base with a versatile, smooth upper storage area. The bottom shelf utilizes an HD-Bar shelf, functioning like a dunnage rack to support your heaviest bulk items, while the upper levels feature Solid Brute shelves, providing a flat, secure surface for smaller or loose items that need containment. Features & Benefits:- Superior Base Strength: The bottom shelf is a "Heavy Duty" (HD) Series shelf, constructed of 1 ½” x 1 ¾” x .070” wall tubing. This dunnage-style shelf boasts a weight capacity of 2,000 lbs., making it perfect for holding heavy cases of meat, produce, or liquids near the floor.
- Solid & Cleanable Uppers: The upper shelves are "Solid Brute" Series, designed with a weight capacity of 800 lbs. per shelf. These shelves feature a reinforced framework with a removable .040” aluminum top, allowing for easy removal and thorough cleaning—a critical feature for maintaining hygiene in foodservice environments.
- Adjust-A-Shelf System: These complete units are fully adjustable to suit your changing inventory. The heavy-duty posts (15/16” diameter pipe) are marked in 2-inch increments, and the entire unit assembles in minutes using only the provided Allen wrench.
- Rust-Free Durability: Manufactured entirely from primary grade aluminum, these units are guaranteed to remain rust-free, making them the superior choice for the humid, wet conditions found in walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Foodservice & Cold Storage: Ideal for walk-ins where the bottom shelf handles heavy bulk ingredients (flour, sugar, heavy cases) while the solid upper shelves organize open bins, spice containers, or smaller equipment.
- Correctional & Institutional: Built to organize large, heavy loads in high-volume facilities.
- Warehousing: Perfect for mixed inventory storage, keeping stable heavy items low and loose parts secure above.
