MAP Policy
Where can I find your Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy?
Our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy is available on our website at https://www.newageindustrial.com/company/policies/map/ and outlines our public price advertising guidelines for all distributors, dealers, and resellers.
If you would like a downloadable PDF copy of the policy, visit the MAP Policy item in our Resources section at https://www.newageindustrial.com/resource/minimum-advertised-price-map-policy/.
What is the New Age Industrial MAP Policy?
Our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy establishes guidelines for public price advertising across our entire product line. It is designed to protect dealer profitability, preserve brand equity, and foster a fair, competitive marketplace across all commercial sales channels.
What is the maximum allowed advertised discount under the MAP Policy?
No reseller, dealer, or distributor may publicly publish or advertise New Age Industrial products at a discount greater than 50% off the current official New Age Industrial list price.
Does this policy apply to both “on-the-street” sales and online distributors?
Yes. The MAP Policy applies uniformly across all distribution channels. This includes traditional brick-and-mortar dealers, commercial catalog/street sales representatives, and online e-commerce distributors. It governs all public, published, and broadcast advertising regardless of medium.
Does the policy apply if a dealer omits the New Age Industrial brand name and uses custom part numbers or private labels?
Yes. Utilizing New Age Industrial product images, proprietary CAD drawings, design features, or equipment descriptions to publicly advertise a product below the 50% discount threshold—regardless of whether our brand name or standard model numbers are visible—is a direct MAP violation. The policy governs the public advertising of the equipment itself across all channels.
Does the MAP Policy apply to awarded GSA contract pricing published on GSA Advantage?
No. Awarded GSA Schedule pricing published on official government portals like GSA Advantage is exempt from commercial MAP enforcement. GSA contract pricing represents legally binding ceiling prices established under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for authorized government procurement. However, standard MAP guidelines still apply if those contract prices are publicly advertised on open, commercial e-commerce websites.
What is the difference between an Advertised Price and a Selling Price under this policy?
Advertised Price (Covered by MAP): Any price publicly visible on open web pages, search engine results, digital ad banners, social media, broadcast email newsletters, direct mailers, printed catalog flyers, or trade show displays before a customer initiates a private quote or adds an item to their shopping cart.
Selling Price (Exempt from MAP): The actual final price charged to the customer during direct 1-on-1 negotiations, custom written proposals, phone quotes, or inside secured checkout steps.
Does the MAP Policy dictate or restrict our actual selling price?
No. MAP governs publicly advertised prices only. It does not dictate, cap, or restrict the final negotiated selling price. Dealers retain complete independence and total freedom to negotiate and establish any final selling price directly with their end-user customers during private sales interactions.
Are custom, one-on-one price quotes exempt from MAP?
Yes. Individualized, non-public quotes communicated directly to a customer via phone, email, direct messaging, formal paper proposals, or in-person sales conversations are fully exempt from MAP guidelines.
Can we advertise “Free Freight” or value-added services alongside New Age Industrial equipment?
Yes. Resellers may advertise general value-added incentives—such as “Free Freight,” “Free Local Delivery,” or “Free Assembly”—as long as the advertised price of the product itself remains at or above the MAP threshold.
Who should I contact if I have questions about a specific listing or policy term?
For questions regarding MAP compliance, authorized listings, or pricing guidelines, please reach out to our Director of E-Commerce and Marketing, Megan Keiswetter or your New Age Industrial Regional Sales Manager.

Our Process
Where are your products manufactured?
New Age Industrial is located in Norton, KS. We manufacture our products inside of our 300,000 square foot facility. We take great pride in developing our products from billet to box, and about 90% of our parts and accessories are purchased from other American manufacturers.
What is aluminum billet?
The raw aluminum billet we utilize are a solid, cylindrical shape and weigh 60 pounds apiece. This billet is extruded into different shapes. We process over 4,000,000 pounds of primary aluminum billet each year.
What does extrude mean?
We extrude, cut, fabricate, weld, and package every product under one roof, right here in Norton, Kansas. A gas-fired furnace pre-heats the 60-pound aluminum billet to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, the billet is heated to 1100 degrees Fahrenheit and pushed through an extrusion press. Shapes are formed using hollow and solid dies. Extruding is one of our greatest manufacturing advantages. It gives us control over product design, material size, shape, and quantity.
What is a die?
Extrusion dies are thick, circular disks that come in a variety of shapes. Heated aluminum billet is pressed through the dies to mold desired shapes and sizes. We have over 1,000 hollow and solid dies in stock.
